can i just talk about how much i love ladies supporting and encouraging other ladies in media?
basically, the orange haired girl, rin, got bullied when she was younger for wearing a skirt when she looked like a boy and lacked the confidence to feel pretty in this dress for her performance
in the end all of her friends gave her so much positive reinforcement about her looks and how she’ll look beautiful in it and she was able to gain the confidence and reassurance, from other females, to finally dress up again (in front of such a big audience too!)
i just, i love this. i love it when women give compliments and help raise the self esteem of other girls. im so tired of all the competitive women in media and girls putting each other down and trying to be better than one another (usually for another man, sadly) and just seeing these beautiful girls team up and help their friend feel confident and beautiful is beautiful in itself
writers, take notes. have women support each other. have women get along and interact and boost up each other and compliment one another and stop creating this drift of competition. this is what we want and deserve to see.
